Award-winning Gospel Singer and Evangelist Benny Greenlee is an accomplished musician with an anointing to lead in praise and worship. He was born in Hobbs NM where he has lived for 36 of his 46 years. He left Hobbs for 10 years to pastor and evangelize but returned to Hobbs in 1985 where he has pastored for the last 17 years. He has opened for such groups as The Kingsmen, Heavenbound, The Wilburns, The Toney Brothers, J. D. Sumner and the Stamps, The Segos, Golden Covenant, The New Hinsons and many others. Benny was awarded the "People's Choice Award" in 1999 by the Country Gospel Music Association SW Division and was named "Horizon Male Vocalist of The Year" by the Country Gospel Connection. His first single release to national and international radio, "Fee My Sheep" has charted #19 on the CGC Top 100 Chart and is being played all over the US, Western Europe and is charted #1 in Malta. |
