Dayle and Gayle Horn are identical twins who have sung together since age 3. (They are now 61 years young). Carlene Shrabel has also sung since age 15, first with her gospel singing family, then out on her own. (She is now 72 years young). The ladies came together and formed a trio in 1999. They are members of the same church fellowship, Lighthouse Christian Center, Eufaula, OK, Rev. John Parish, Pastor. They are senior adults who believe life doesn't come to a stop just because a person reaches the senior age level. They have a story to tell, and a song to sing. Theirs is a close, smooth, harmonious blend, resembling the McGuire Sisters of yesteryear. Carlene has a deep contralto voice which makes leading on the bottom of a female trio unusual. They have a variety of repertoire which incorporates featuring each member. They are well-known for their ability to hold true pitch, sing accappella, as well as standard southern gospel and contemporary music. They travel all over Oklahoma and are willing to. |
